Reader’s Question:

I don’t use my car everyday and paying for a yearly policy may be too expensive for me. I have heard there is a thing called 1 day auto insurance, what is it?

If you are not using your car everyday, but you would like to have your car insured every time that you are going to drive it, 1 day auto insurance is best for your needs then. Just think about the rates that you are going to pay monthly, or even yearly for a car that you are not using everyday. It may even sound a bit expensive, and of course a little impractical.

Good thing is that some insurance companies offer a policy like this. Of course, if you know a company that you fully trust, then you may ask these agencies if they have coverage for 1 day auto insurance. If not, then the internet may become your best friend.

Getting 1 day auto insurance may sound difficult for some people, but as a matter of fact, these can be found everywhere. It is just rare that people get this type of insurance since most vehicle owners use their cars most of the time. But for the few people that don’t use their vehicles on a daily basis, this may come in handy.

With a few hits on the keyboard, and a few mouse clicks for sure there are loads of insurance companies that are offering this type of insurance. Don’t settle with just one insurance agent or company. Since they most of these companies are offering free insurance quotes online , you can easily compare the rates and prices along with the coverage, and help you come up with a decision on which company you would go with.

Insurance rates, prices and coverage will of course depend on the insurance company. The process is still the same, everything – premiums would depend on age, type of vehicle etc.

The only difference is that it is only valid for one day. But mind you, this is going to be the best decision that you are about to make, rather than going on a yearly basis and pay for high premiums yearly.
